RUMOURS: Man Utd to ditch Memphis

The Red Devils are set to cash in on the Netherlands international this summer after just a year at Old Trafford, with a number of clubs already contacted

Manchester United are set to sell Memphis Depay this summer less than a year after signing the winger from PSV, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Memphis has endured a frustrating season at United following his £25 million move to the club, scoring just two Premier League goals in 26 appearances.

And Louis van Gaal has now sanctioned his sale, with United contacting

Blanc's scruffy PSG must improve to stave off Mourinho rumours

It took a controversial refereeing decision and a defensive mix up to give the Ligue 1 champions the Coupe de la Ligue trophy - but they were far from their best

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the second leg of a potential French treble, but they were made to work exceptionally hard for a 2-1 victory over Lille in the Coupe de la Ligue final.

With the Ligue 1 title already in the bag, Laurent Blanc’s out-of-sorts side rode their luck to overcome opponents who were arguably the form team in France, having won all of their previous six matches. PSG, on the other hand, no longer seem the untouchable side of the winter months and after crashing out of the Champions League to Manchester City 10 days previous came into this encounter with rumours circulating that Jose Mourinho could take over from Blanc in the summer.

Although they lifted the trophy, they did so with such a dearth of panache that questions will continue to be asked.

The Parc des Princes club made life difficult for themselves, with Adrien Rabiot sent off for two bookings against Lille for the second time this season. But just as PSG came through 1-0 on the opening night of the Championnat season after the young midfielder was dismissed, they would do so again in front of more than

The young United star was in top form and scored a dramatic late winner to see Louis van Gaal's side past Everton and their mis-firing forward in the FA Cup semi finals

At Wembley, your gaze cannot help but scan skyward on occasion to find the planes descending towards London's Heathrow airport but in the 91st minute of the FA Cup final here against Everton the sudden, jolting noise which roared from the Manchester United end could well have been mistaken for the sound of a squadron of RAF bombers overhead. < Read more >

It's the Red Devils, not the Red Arrows, who will be back here next month to take on either Watford or Crystal Palace after Anthony Martial's sensational late winner.

At the other end, all afternoon long, Romelu Lukaku fluffed his chances time and again. He chased his own poor touches desperately trying to

MANCHESTER CITY - WEST HAM PREVIEW: AGUERO EXPECTED TO BE FIT FOR PREMIER LEAGUE LEADERS By Nicholas McGee

The Hammers have already won at Arsenal and Liverpool and are hoping to inflict a first Premier League defeat of the season on Manuel Pellegrini's men Sergio Aguero is expected to be back fit for Manchester City's Premier League clash with West Ham, but that is not stopping Slaven Bilic from plotting a potential third shock away win of the season. Aguero was reduced to the role of an 83rd-minute substitute in City's 2-1 Champions League defeat to Juventus on Tuesday because of a knee problem. The Argentina international striker did not aggravate the injury in midweek, leaving City manager Manuel Pellegrini hopeful that Aguero - who netted 32 goals in all competitions last season - will be able to play to feature heavily in Saturday's game. Pellegrini said: "It was a risk to use him [Aguero]. I tried not to because if he got a kick in the same part it could take him more days to recover. "Fortunately he did not have any problems and I hope he will be fit for Saturday." Leaders City, who are four points clear at the top, are the only team with a 100 per cent record remaining in the Premier League, having taken maximum points from their first five games, scoring 11 goals and yet to concede in the process. West Ham have not won a league game at City since the 2002-03 campaign, but can take heart from masterminding two stunning results this season by beating Arsenal and Liverpool on their travels. And, speaking at his pre-match media conference, Bilic said: "It would be a surprise [if West Ham won] of course because Manchester City have scored 11 goals in the league and have not conceded. "They are cruising in the early stages and already have a gap which is hard to get after five games. "It wouldn't be a shock as we already have two out of two away wins. We know what we need to do to have a chance. "They are the favourites of course but I am expecting us to have a good game and if that is the case we will have chances." Aside from Aguero, City have a concern over captain Vincent Kompany, who picked up a calf injury against Juve. Pablo Zabaleta (knee) and Fernando (groin) are likely to miss out, with Fabian Delph (hamstring) and Gael Clichy (ankle) both out. For West Ham, Angelo Ogbonna is unavailable due to a hamstring problem, Alex Song is still recovering from an ankle complaint and long-term absentee Enner Valencia (knee) is sidelined.  But Mauro Zarate is back in full training following a hamstring concern and Pedro Obiang is expected to shake off a knock in time to be fit. I Did Not Ask Anyone To Bar AIT From Covering My Activities - Buhari

President-elect Gen. Buhari says he never gave the directive to anyone to bar AIT from covering his activities. In a statement released this evening and signed by the Director of Publicity for the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Garba Shehu, Gen Buhari said this is the era of change and that he along with his staff will ensure they do not make the same mistakes the outgoing government made.
"The time for change has come and we must avoid making the same mistakes that the outgoing government made" the statement read in part.
The statement also stated that Gen Buhari instructed his staff to"steer clear of all dealings with the media, and leave all media affairs to his official media team. "I would like everyone to henceforth stay within his/her defined area of responsibility,” Buhari said.

None Of The Rescued 293 Females Is From Chibok-Borno Govt

Borno state govt says profiling of the 293 females rescued from Sambisa forest yesterday April 28th shows that they are from Damboa local government and not from Chibok as was highly speculated.

Speaking with newsmen in Maiduguri today April 29th, the state Commissioner for Information, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, say the rescued females are from Bumsiri village in Damboa Local government area and were all kidnapped from the village by the sect members.

"These girls and women rescued are still our daughters as much as the Chibok girls and we have to commend the military for liberating them, hoping that the rest will equally be liberated. Though everyone had thought they were the Chibok girls because of the hype surrounding the abduction of the girls, but we should not lose sight of the fact that they are as important as the Chibok girls and those that are still in captivity, which we hope would be liberated soon. But at the moment, we are looking up to the time the 293 women and girls would be handed to us so that we can begin the process of rehabilitating and reintegrating them back into the society.” he said
